"Public land in north London which is protected under an historic covenant from the 1920s is due to be sold to developers by the local authority.
"Barnet Council wants to get rid of an area which used to be Hendon Football Club's ground in Cricklewood, but campaigners have said the decision to sell could threaten other protected open spaces."
