Camden New Journal: "Green light for Hampstead Heath-style bathing ponds in King's Cross" (Somewhat unikely that Hammeson would do that at Brent Cross)

Dive into the web site

"PLANNING permission has been granted for man-made public bathing ponds to be built in the middle of King's Cross.

"As the New Journal revealed in March, the plans for a vacant plot on the regeneration site behind King's Cross and St Pancras International stations will aim recreate the sensation of swimming in ponds like the waters on Hampstead Heath, which are celebrated for being chemical-free.

"While there are 900 man-made swimming ponds across Europe, the project organisers believe it is the first to be constructed in the United Kingdom."
