Extract, very slightly edited, of Barnet Council's response to Bestway's queries
09 September 2010
It has been decided to report to the next meeting of the Planning and Environment Committee on 20 September, and that report will include a response to the issues that have been raised by Bestway and their advisers.
Please find a link to the report and the latest draft planning conditions (in-track changes from the July edition) which appear as an Appendix to the 20 September Committee Report.
As you will see, the report carefully considers the issues you have raised in your correspondence. I hope that you will feel that all the issues you have raised have now been adequately considered.
We are now in the process of placing another draft of the main S106 report on the planning register, but as it may take a few days for it to appear electronically, I therefore now attach a copy for your consideration. [Not shown in this post.] You will see that, in order to assist you and other readers, we have shown the document in a form which clearly identifies the amendments that have been made since the last version was registered on 16th July 2010.
You ask in your email what the timetable for the eventual issue of the planning permission is likely to be. As far as we are aware, we anticipate agreeing the S106 and issuing the permission before the ‘deadline’ of 29 October 2010 agreed by the 29 July Planning and Environment Committee. We cannot give you an exact date at this stage.
