Reporting direct to the Mayor of London on the largest strategic development schemes in the Capital, including Thames Gateway, Olympics, Paddington Basin, Kings Cross, Stratford City, Wembley, Greenwich Dome & Peninsula and tall buildings in the City. Contributor to the Mayor's London Plan – housing policies and opportunity areas.
Priority Areas
Promoting the “voice of the suburbs” in London and Barnet and leading Successful London Suburbs.
Developed and leading a radical suburban growth strategy for regeneration, enhancement and protection titled the Three Strands Approach (Protect, Enhance and Grow). Delivering 30,000 new homes and 22,000 new jobs over the next 20 years as an Opportunity Borough, whilst creating a new Metropolitan-scale town centre for North London, and £4.5 billion investment at Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration.
