Brent Cross is excited to announce that we'll be visited by a much-loved children's character from a popular children's book or TV show on the last Saturday of every month!

We will also be bringing you and your children, fun, educational activities to entertain young minds and exercise energetic youngsters.

So make sure you come along to Brent Cross and join us on the Lower Mall for tons of FREE fun! Free tickets are available in Centre [sic] on the day of the event and allocated on a first come first served basis.

When and where to find us:

Characters will be appearing on the Lower Mall at 11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm & 3.30pm.

2014 character appearances!   

25 January:

Thomas The Tank Engine™ will be steaming into Brent Cross. Little ones will have the chance to sit on Thomas and meet the Fat Controller.

22 February:

Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from the Octonauts are venturing to North London! Bring the children along to see the daring duo.

29 March:

Fireman Sam and Naughty Norman will be travelling all the way from Pontypandy to see their young fans at Brent Cross. 

26 April:

Join Waybuloo’s Yojojo and De Li for a Yogo session and a chance to meet the characters. Yogo is very special form of yoga designed to aid young children’s balance and co-ordination.

31 May:

The Moshi Monsters are coming to Brent Cross to visit their young fans. Little ones will have the chance to see Katsuma and Poppet.

28 June:

Peppa Pig is back by popular demand! Only this time she’s bringing Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig and George with her. Youngsters have the chance to see the family, follow the Peppa Pig Holiday Fun Trail and participate in other Peppa surprises.

26 July:

Scientific Tommy and creative Tallulah, the six year old twins from Tickety Toc are coming to meet and greet their young fans. 

30 August:

Beep Beep! Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris are racing to Brent Cross to meet young fans and you’re all invited!

27 September:

Postman Pat® and his black and white cat, Jess will be joining us at Brent Cross with a Special Mission to entertain young minds.

25 October:

It’s Halloween so it could only be Scooby-Doo this month! This cowardly TV favourite will be popular with big kids and little kids.

29 November:

Ben 10 Alien Shocksquatch will be visiting the centre in November. Children can meet the popular alien – just watch out for the electrical charges! [We will!]
