"LB Redbridge chief planning and regeneration officer Stewart Murray
is to become assistant director of planning for the Mayor of London.
"Murray will move to the Greater London
Authority (GLA) this autumn. He will lead both the London Plan team and
the Planning Decisions Unit, reports Planning Magazine.

"He has been at Redbridge since last year. Before that, he was Director
of Planning, Housing and Regeneration at LB Barnet.
"He has also worked
for the City of London, and in the planning team at the GLA.
"While at Redbridge he has managed the introduction of the council’s
Community Infrastructure Levy, one of the first to be implemented in the
UK."
