It is time for the new Coalition Government to deliver on their "Green" credentials. There would be no better place to start than this crazy plan.
ReplyDeleteI had the misfortune to live in the footprint of the Edmonton Incinerator a few years ago. It was called "The Cancer Factory" by the locals. Nearly every street was blighted by cases of cancer and the air quality was appalling that for most of the time in hot weather it was impossible to breath. The area has been deserted by the "locals" and is mainly inhabited by immigrants in the recent waves of immigration.
Brent Cross would be ruined by an incinerator. Lets put it in St Albahns or Wheathamstead or Kensington or in the grounds of Chequers. Why should Barnet be ruined by this. Here in Mill Hill we would suffer air problems ( already got many because of the arterial routes ) on an even bigger scale.
