"Residents have lost their fight to block a £68 million development in Crystal Palace Park. They had opposed the regeneration scheme, which includes two housing
developments, saying it would threaten other open spaces and harm 'bat
commuting routes' across the park.
"But after a lengthy legal
battle, a High Court judge backed Communities Secretary Eric Pickles’s
decision to grant outline planning permission to the masterplan."
