The Drum: "Hammerson appoints isobel to £2m creative account"

May 2014: "Real estate company Hammerson has appointed isobel to work across four shopping centres: Brent Cross in London, Centrale in Croydon, Oracle in Reading and WestQuay in Southampton.

"Isobel was appointed to the £2m creative account following a four-way pitch.

" 'Hammerson was our second ever client, so this appointment means a lot to us,' explained Dave Alexander, creative partner at isobel. 'The work has consistently set the pace, and we relish the opportunity to work with the London and South East shopping centres.'

"The agency will now create a new campaign for each centre, including TV, print, outdoor and POS."

The new pitch?

"I'm a car-based out-of-town shopping centre"
"I'm doubling in size"
"I claim my new shoppers will arrive by bus"
(Admittedly no-one believes that)
"I'm therefore clearing off after just Phase One!"

"There are many sides to
BRENTCROSS [sic]
LONDON"
(and some are just unsustainable disasters)
